Some of us might have this problem while they are trying to jailbreak their ..iPods or may be iPhones too ... which is called the ASL.dll Error
What you will see is a message saying that this application has failed, and is not found .. due to the ASL.dll error .. and that this problem might be solved by reinstalling the application again ..
Well, from my personal experience, I have tried to download the application, which is blackra1n, like hundreds of times, and never worked .. so what you have to do is the following, and please work it out exactly like it will be written, or else it won't work with you ...
1- Go on to " My Computer" on your pc
2- Go on your hard driver, and its mostly "C" , then
3- Go to Program files
4- Go to Common Files
5- Click on the Apple file, then choose the Apple Application Support File
then you will find a file called ASL.dll then all you have to do is DRAG & DROP *** Blackra1n *** rmbr ... drag and drop NOT COPY OR CUT AND PASTE< ONLY DRAG & DROP into the file of Apple Application Support
6- Right Click on the Blackra1n you have just dropped there and create a shortcut <<<< VERY IMPORTANT >>> IF YOU DON"T DO THIS, IT WON"T WORK !
and now you'll get another blackra1n program in this file
7- Copy this shortcut ** blackra1n ** make sure You copy it NOT cut or drop
8- Paste it where ever you want, e.g on desktop
9- Open the Blackra1n program, and finally you'll be able to jailbreak your iPod
